Polynesian Plant Sale and Handcrafting Event

On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17 our visitors were invited to learn a bit about Lei Making, the Hawaiian Way. Carol Pelton and Teresa Lake were joined by Maggie O'Brien and we were shown how to make beautiful Leis
from Ti plants that grow in our yards. Maggie also demonstrated on Sunday how to make plumeria flowers from material, a money lei for a gift and a lei from Bougainvillea flowers.
It was fun!
