February 5th brought car pooling ladies from the
Methodist Women's Group, Ruth Circle, to
Tropical Ranch Botanical Gardens. There was a drop or two of rain but
then the sun came out and smiled on these lovely ladies as they enjoyed their
visit to TRBG. As you can see from the
pictures, these ladies were very impressed and asked many questions of the
owners, Diane Rexroad and Jim Haines, which they were only too happy to answer.
Sharing their spectacular garden with interested and enthusiastic visitors is
its own reward for the couple who put in long hours maintaining the three acres
that comprise the various Theme Gardens. Both Rexroad and Haines are Martin
County Master Gardeners with the
University of Florida and preach the word about the "right plant in the right
place".

The Group had brown-bagged their lunches
and were invited to enjoy them in the Gardens or on the Patio. After a
brief prayer, lunch and fellowship was shared and the ladies had a grand
time. Thanks for visiting ladies. We enjoyed having you in our Gardens!
Come back again. |
