Hibiscus Circle Visits TRBG

On Tuesday, February 20, TRBG was visited by The Hibiscus Circle of the Stuart Garden Club.  The Circle toured the Gardens and then conducted their monthly meeting in a perfect setting of lush tropical foliage and beautiful flowers. Diane Rexroad, one of the owners of the Garden, is a member of the Hibiscus Circle and was delighted to host a meeting and share her garden with her fellow garden enthusiasts.  Many of the members had not visited TRBG since the Garden was on the Stuart Garden Tour four years ago and were amazed at the expansion and diversity of this Botanical Garden. As the saying goes, a good time was had by all.

Welcome to the Garden ladies!

Jim Haines loves to tell stories about the Garden and its origination.

Diane warns her fellow members of the danger of the Monkey Puzzle Tree.

Milkster, always a favorite, charms the ladies.

Bobbie Spilman and Phyllis Gidley discuss the identity of a particular plant

Jim invites the ladies to brose the new shade house and explains its various uses.

Diane points out the Champion Trees that are resident in the Garden and explains the Champion Tree Program.
